André has 5 years experience running professional networking associations in business transformation where he was instrumental in building SharedXpertise and HROA. His roles included building and managing membership services, marketing, events, training, research, business development and creating the HR Transformation buyers group who’s members represent 1.5 million employees and a turnover of €550 million. André has worked with leading companies such as Accenture, ADP, Alcoa, Arinso, Chevron, EDS, HP, IBM, IKEA, Intel, P&G, SAP, Tetra Pak and Unilever.
Prior to association management, André spent 3 years working in branding and marketing on both the client and agency-side for Gyro International, Europe’s leading independent integrated communications agency where he managed the Oracle, Orange, Sony, Sun Microsystems, Virgin and US Robotics accounts. André then moved on to build Gyro's event business and GEMS™, Gyro's event management system, which is still being used 6 years on.
